  • Prerequisite: Japanese 1 or equivalent
Course Objectives and Description

Japanese 2 is designed for beginners to establish a foundation necessary to move up to intermediate Japanese levels. This course emphasizes on improving conversation skills, including pronunciation and the Japanese writing systems; Kanji.

At the end of the course a student will be able to:

  • Read and write 99 Kanji, a total of 165 Kanji in Japanese 1-2
  • Vocabulary - 479 words, a total of 630 words in Japanese 1-2
  • Tell the location of a thing or a person
  • Give directions, make a request
